Orders and shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Standard shipping then takes 2 to 8 business days, and express shipping takes 1 to 4 business days. You'll get an email as soon as your order is on its way.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is free on orders over $50. For smaller orders, shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight, with standard and express options available.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at the moment. We currently ship within Australia only.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Checkout is secure and handled by Shopify.
Returns and damaged items
Can I return an item?
Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We'll refund the order amount minus the cost of return shipping.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
We're sorry! Please email hello@cooltea.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item as soon as possible, and we'll sort out a solution.
Our teas
Which teas contain caffeine?
Our black teas (Bergamot Bliss, Royal Breakfast and Masala Magic) have the most caffeine, and Green Jasmine has a little less. Pure Peppermint and Lemongrass & Ginger are herbal and naturally caffeine free.
Do I need an infuser for loose leaf tea?
Yes, you'll need an infuser, strainer or teapot. Our Bloom and Dona infusers fit most mugs and make brewing loose leaf easy.
How much tea do I use per cup?
About 1 teaspoon per cup for most blends, and 2 teaspoons for Masala Magic. Each product page has a full brewing guide with water temperature and steeping time.
How should I store my tea?
Keep it sealed in an airtight container in a cool, dark place, away from strong smells and moisture.

What does 50% of profits mean?
Cool Tea dedicates 50% of our profits to organisations fighting animal cruelty and supporting animal welfare. Every order you place is part of it.
Where does your tea come from?
Our tea leaves are carefully sourced from independent smallholder farmers through accredited suppliers, who receive fair prices for their work. Read more on our Ethical Farming page.
